详细说明: 1847‘0’ Choice About Uncirculated. Deep golden color with attractive coppery highlights. A coin that is really virtually Mint State. Lustrous typical strike, the mintmark visible but weak at lower portion of the loop. Some faint hairlines. Only 12,000 were struck. David Akers writes regarding this issue: “This date is one of the real ‘sleepers’ of the Half Eagle series. . . It is seldom available in any condition and when one is offered, it is invariably VF or EF at best. I have never seen an uncirculated piece. . .’’Breen remarked “Prohibitively rare above EF.” The Norweb, Stack (1994), and Eliasberg coins were all EF. One of the Finest Known. NGC AU 58, conservatively graded in our opinion, none certified Uncirculated.
