A wholly acceptable Proof Seated Liberty dollar for the collector. While the fields have a number of hairlines from an old wiping, the fields retain a strong flash that surrounds razor sharp definition to the frosted devices. A dusting of iridescent tone can be seen on both sides aiding in the eye appeal. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 33, NGC 11. The most recent example to sell in auction was in February 2018 and realized $1,920; prior to that one sold in March 2016 for $2,585. The current PCGS value is listed at $2,200. Cert.
