This is a high quality and one of the highest graded 26-D cents. The brilliant RED surfaces are bold and lustrous, showing off with no serious marks or discolorations. The details are all crisply rendered by an exacting, precision blow from the dies. Remarkably RARE any finer, this is a great coin for the advanced Registry Set collector. PCGS 89, NGC 4, CAC 12. There are 16 graded MS65+ RD and just five finer. The last one sold for $3,720 in the 2019 ANA auction and prior to that, they brought over $4,200. The current PCGS value is listed at $4,500. A PCGS/CAC MS66 RD is a five figure coin, and none have ever sold in auction. This coin will sell for a very strong bid when the hammer falls. Bound for a great set. Cert.
