Struck in silver with a plain edge. Exceptional, near-GEM quality mirrors beam with bold, brilliant reflection. The fields are undisturbed by a depth of clarity that is often lacking on proofs of the era. The crisply struck devices are fully frosted and stand out dramatically against the reflective mirrors. The eye appeal is exceptional for the grade! PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. This coin has not appeared in auction. The other example last sold back in August 2013, realizing $7,050.
