- Aesthetically pleasing and numismatically desirable Select Mint State quality for this classic of 20th century U.S. Mint gold coinage. Dusted with pinkish-rose patina, the surfaces are otherwise honey-gold in color. Satin to softly frosted luster is a but muted to help explain the MS-63 assessment from NGC, but there are no marks of concern and the in hand appearance is pleasingly smooth. Sharply defined, as well, and sure to be of interest to advanced gold collectors as well as art aficionados.
