FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION. What a great looking SUPERB GEM that ranks among the absolute FINEST graded, indeed, after nearly 35 years of coin grading, PCGS has graded just two coins higher. Impressive, pristine mirrored fields are smooth and free of any distracting anything. The mirrors have a vibrant, watery reflection that really have a bold flash in the light. Pastel blue, rose-gold, and variegated lilac/violet tones are amplified by the sparkling reflectivity and brilliance when rotated in a light. Generally well struck throughout, this marvelous SUPERB GEM has a classic, old time collection look that is a true delight to behold. Only 762 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 14, CAC 9. This is the SOLE PR67+ and it sold last in December 2013 for $10,575. Even as an NGC PR67+. this coin brought more than the $7,500 Collectors Universe lists as the value for this grade.
