- FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION. This is a beautifully preserved GEM that is way more RED than any other color. Indeed, if the reverse was a touch redder, this coin would have been a full RED designation. Clearly this coin sat, obverse up, so the reverse mellowed to a delicate orange-gold. A few ancient toning spots can be seen on the obverse, hidden near the rim. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 113, NGC 50, CAC 40. The last one sold in June 2018 for $1,260 and one sold in March 2018 for $1,800 and the current Collector's Universe value is listed at $1,200. VERY SCARCE this nice and rather RARE any finer! Cert.
