- This is a deeply and richly toned Type I quarter from the Denver mint. A bold luster bursts from under a deep purple/blue, rose-gold, olive-gold, and peach-rose patina. The colors really pop when you rotate this GEM in a light. Sharply struck, the devices are fully formed and well defined; the surfaces are clean and free of distracting marks of any kind. The eye appeal is great, totally original, and high end. PCGS 345, NGC 190. The most recent examples have sold in the $1,260 to $2,220 range and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $2,350.
