- 1793 Wreath Cent. S-11C. Rarity-3. Lettered Edge. VF-30 (PCGS). Our attribution is correct as to die marriage and Lettered Edge <em>Guide Book </em>variety, but we are unable to examine the edge to determine if it displays the double-leaf or single-leaf device. Evenly patinated in a medium copper-brown color, both sides exhibit suitably bold definition in the presence of moderate, evenly distributed wear. A shallow rim bruise is evident at the left obverse, but several other "indentations" in the right-obverse field and near the right-reverse border may be as-struck planchet flaws. An appealing mid-grade survivor of this historic one-year type.
