- A totally originally toned GEM example of this overdate. Sharply struck devices stand out. The mirrors are rich and highly reflective with a bold clarity. The die polish lines in the fields suggest that this was an early striking after the dies were polished, imparting the bold mirrors. Only 460 were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 0, CAC 6. This is the gleaming GEM that was sold in May 2018 realizing $10,625 in the sale of the Stone Collection. Only three coins were graded higher and this GEM will see very fierce bidding from specialists. Cert. Number 35658254 PCGS # 3713
