1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Judd-960, Pollock-1112. Rarity-7-. Proof-65 BN (PCGS). CAC. Mostly tan surfaces with blended rose and blue accents. Traces of faded red can be seen on both surfaces despite the "BN" designation on the PCGS insert. A rare and desirable pattern issue with perhaps 9-12 known in all, and this gem is certainly one of the finest survivors.
