Only 52,000 1916 Standing Liberty quarters were struck in December 1916, making this one of the lowest mintage issues struck for circulation of the 20th century. This PQ AU has a pearly-silver sheen with a decent amount of luster surviving on the surfaces. Just a touch of the lightest, problem free wear can be seen on either side, and the eye appeal is on par with higher grade pieces we have seen (no guarantees). The eye appeal is high end. PCGS 57, NGC 10, CAC 8. The most recent example sold for $10,000 in June 2017. The current CAC CPG value is $11,200 and the PCGS Price Guide value is $10,000.
