This is an awesome Delaware, easily one of the FINEST MS67+s that has been graded, and certainly one of the nicest we have ever had the honor of offering. Premium quality to the fore! Beautifully preserved, the surfaces are frosty and satiny with a bold luster that glows all over. Every detail is sharply struck up with pinpoint precision razor sharp exactness. The surfaces immaculate, flawless in fact, devoid of even the tiniest of ticks. Awesome tab toning graces this GEM with a delicate gold deepening to coppery-orange that frames the obverse and the reverse has a wonderful mix of lemon-yellow, tangerine, and soft reddish hues. We have never seen an MS67+ Delaware that compares! PCGS 211, NGC 165, CAC 87. There are 44 in MS67+ and it is highly doubtful that more than a handful can come close to this SUPERB coin's visual allure. The most recent example of this grade realized $5,760, and is close to this coin in terms of visual quality. There are seven graded higher at PCGS, none of which have ever sold in auction, but PCGS lists a value of $25,000.
