THE BIG CYPRESS COLLECTION With a mintage of only 801 pieces, the 1885 $3 is VERY RARE and highly desirable in all grades. While graded MS63, this coin has the initial appearance of an even higher grade. This is a beautiful and reflectively lustrous GEM! A very flashy, brilliantly Prooflike luster beams from all over. Well struck with totally original, rich orange gold color accents which highlight the awesome quality of the surfaces. Only a few minor contact ticks are noted under a glass, but do not detract from the exceptional eye appeal. PCGS 21, NGC 9, CAC 4. Here again the published levels are off. Back in December 2018 the last PCGS/CAC example sold for $19,200. We LOVE the look of this example and believe it will see very strong bidding when it crosses the block! Good luck. Cert.
