- 174 graded MS-64+, 108 higher at PCGS. Few high-quality 1927-S silver dollars were set aside and the issue proves elusive at the gem grade level, or within a plus-sign of so grading. Bright almond-grey and silvery surfaces provide pleasing, hard metallic sheen and show very few blemishes, aside from trivial surface grazes on the cheek.
