1875 Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-50 (PCGS). OGH. Olive toning overall with vivid blue and rose accents. Traces of prooflike surface can be seen in the protected areas of the reverse. The 1875 is one of the rarest dates in the Liberty Head quarter eagle series. only 400 circulation strikes were coined and estimates place the number survivors at 40 to 50 pieces in all grades. PCGS has certified the issue on only 37 occasions over the years.
