A wonderfully original, CHOICE Proof Seated dollar. The handsome, rich toning on both sides is accented by sleek, icy smooth, watery brilliant reflective mirrors. The devices are well struck and the eye appeal is high end for the assigned grade. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 64, NGC 40, CAC 2. The other CAC-approved example brought $3,525 back in the 2014 FUN auction--that is seven months shy of a DECADE ago!
