- A truly spectacular SUPERB GEM Cameo Proof example of this centennial year three cent nickel. Tied for FINEST graded, it is not hard to see why, the quality and eye appeal jump out of the slab as soon as you pick this coin up. Carefully struck from an early state of the dies with thick frost across the sharply struck devices. The fields are icy and sleek, with essentially flawlessly smooth mirrors that stand out in stark contrast to the devices. The eye appeal is dramatic and amazing! PCGS 5, NGC 7, CAC 2. The other PCGS/CAC PR67 CAM sold in our May 2020 Regency Auction for $5,053. Since that time, the overall market is stronger and the PCGS Price Guide value suggests a value of $6,500 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $7,190.
