1877 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-65 (PCGS). Rich antique gunmetal-gray and blue on both sides with russet-rose highlights. The strike is bold and the surfaces pleasing with minimal signs of handling. Of the 880 proofs struck, this is one of the finest to exist with all the attributes one could hope to find, glorious toning, surface quality and strike.
