- DUPLICATES FROM THE BLACKCAT COLLECTION What a great opportunity to be able to acquire a SUPERB example of this very RARE silver dollar pattern, the J-1611 is very rarely offered! Do not let the fact we have offered two distinct SUPERB GEM examples in the past fool you! Regular issue Morgan dollar obverse paired with Morgan's large eagle perched holding olive branch and arrows. Struck in silver with a reeded edge, this is a challenging Rarity-7- pattern, with perhaps as many as a dozen known in all grades and this one is among the VERY FINEST KNOWN. Deep, beaming, reflective mirrors are the ultimate in cleanliness and clarity! George Morgan's design elements are crisply embossed on both sides and are fully frosted, combining with the mirrors for a full CAMEO contrast. Flawless icy surfaces are smooth and totally problem free. We expect this SUPERB GEM to be a centerpiece in a world class collection of Morgan dollars or major pattern rarities! PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. The most recent example to sell brought $41,125 in our May 2018 Regency Auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $45,000. We would expect that this coin could bring a record price for a J-1611 when the hammer falls. Good luck! Cert. Number 35639295 PCGS # 134097
