1899 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-63 (PCGS). CAC. OGH--First Generation. One of 846 proofs struck in 1899 for these ever desired Morgan dollars, this piece with bright silver surfaces save for a band of orange-gold on the lower obverse rim, and a proper dusting of gold elsewhere typical of silver coins. Well preserved although a few minor handling marks are found when examined, a nick or two and moderate hairlines so common to these delicate surfaces. A pleasing example for the collector.
