- BOLIVIA. 8 Escudos, 1852-PTS FP. Potosí Mint. PCGS Genuine--Scratch, AU Details Gold Shield. Fr-33; KM-115. Large laureate bust left, VERY RAREone year type. Bold strike, light attractive tone on both sides. One small scratch on the obverse field, but quite an acceptable example of this classic Latin America Rarity with fewer than 10 examples known. We note examples in Sedwick sale 18 (October 2015, lot 98), the Lissner sale (CNG, August 2014, lot 1218) and the Millenia sale (Goldberg sale 46, May 2008, lot 954) as the sole offerings in the last decade.
