- A CHOICE and original Lafayette dollar housed in an old NGC fatty holder. Pearly-silver-gray toning in the centers are framed by a band of rich blue and delicate rainbow toning at the periphery. The surfaces are frosty and brilliant. While a few old reeding marks are seen on both sides, they are very minor and do not detract from the eye appeal. PCGS 1023, NGC 751, CAC 112. Not as richly toned as the one we sold in December 2022, this one has a great look and will see considerable bidding. The CAC CPG value is $2,440 and the Collectors Universe value is $2,650.
