This PR68 Barber quarter is certainly one of the FINEST extant, joining 11 others at the top of the pop at NGC for the designation. This impressive SUPERB GEM has the most elegant mirrored fields. Vibrant reflection beams all over enlivening the surfaces. Richly toned on both sides, the antique patina bursts forth when the light hits the watery mirrored surfaces. Sharply struck and of exquisite technical quality, the eye appeal is superb. Only 551 Proofs were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 12, CAC 5. The most recent NGC coin to sell was not CAC and brought $7,931 in our October 2015 Regency Auction--that was six long years ago! The current CAC CPG value is $9,190.
