1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 19-Z, W-6975. Rarity-5. STATES UNITED, Label with Raised Rim. VF-20 (PCGS). 153.7 grains. Attractive medium brown with golden highlights, just a bit too bright on the devices. Mostly smooth with good detail for the grade. A tiny mint clip is noted above IO of FUGIO, some scattered marks, a few scratches inside the ring at 5 o'clock on the reverse. A nice circulated example of this major variety.
