THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION Rich and magnificent! A borderline GEM Proof that boasts a majestic melange of teal, violet, amber, tangerine, and apricot toning. The mirrors are watery and are moderate, the rich, deep toning somewhat subduing the vibrance. The surfaces are smooth and ultra sleek with a great eye appeal overall. WOW. Only 590 Proofs were struck. PCGS 61, NGC 42, CAC 4. This is the ONLY PR64+ graded at either service. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,150. No CAC-approved PR64 has ever sold, and a PCGS/CAC PR65 sold for $2,600 back in 2016 when the market was weak. We anticipate this near-GEM will bring somewhere around that level.
