详细说明: 1900 Liberty Double Eagle. Proof-65 Cameo (NGC). This impressive strike and condition rarity comes down to us from a mintage of just 124 proof Double Eagle from the turn of the 20th century. Only around 50 proof 1900 Twenties are extant, and many are impaired due to cleaning, placement into circulation or other mishandling. The offering of a certified Gem, therefore, is a particularly rare find for the advanced gold specialist.<br />     Both sides are fully struck with complete definition even the most intricate elements of the design. The devices also possess a thick, satiny texture that contrasts noticeably with deeply mirrored fields. awash in lovely yellow-gold color, with no individually distracting hairlines or other blemishes. Very pretty!
