- 1927-S Standing Liberty Quarter. AU-50 (NGC). The surfaces are essentially untoned with traces of luster still clinging to the recesses. An average strike using a well worn reverse die. There is moderate rubbing on both sides, with a few scattered hairlines on the reverse. This low mintage issue is a semi-key to the Standing Liberty quarter series and scarce in all higher grades.
