- THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION MONSTER COLOR is strikingly beautiful. Intense toning in electric hues of navy, magenta, fiery orange and gold do nothing to diminish the DEPTH of original mint bloom and luster blanketing nearly flawless surfaces. In fact, it only serves to create a gorgeous backdrop to razor sharp devices. One contact mark at Liberty’s right knee is seen under strong magnification. We cannot overstate the absolutely incredible aesthetic appeal of this coin. TOP POP for the date! WB-6, Rarity-4. Most easily identified by the dual die cracks from the back of Liberty’s head to star 8 and on the reverse the die lines through AM of AMERICA. PCGS 16; NGC 6; CAC 3. This is the SOLE MS66+ CAC and is unequivocally worthy of both! This coin has not traded at auction. PCGS Price Guide lists it for $17,500 and we think it is worth every nickel of that and thousands of dollars more, EASILY! With the spread in price from $17,500 to $50,000 in MS67, this coin has a long way to run before it exhausts it’s maximum value. With the killer eye appeal, knockout condition and rarity for the grade, we expect a record price. This is a coin that merits addition to the finest Seated Liberty Half Dollar cabinet! Good luck! Cert. Number 83556003 PCGS # 6280.00
