- GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. "Houseboy" Taler, 1661-HS. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: crossed keys. August "the Younger". PCGS AU-55. Dav-6341; KM-442.1; Welter-822. An interesting representative of this "houseboy" type, so-called on account of the uprooted tree being held in both hands (like a broom) across the body of the wildman, giving him the appearance of being a houseboy ready to sweep the floors. Pleasingly toned and highly original, with a stern look on the wildman and a seemingly impossible amount of muscles in his midsection. Estimate: $600 - $900. Provenance: From the Robert C.
