An old friend, a coin we last saw back in December 2015, where as lot 135, we described it as: "Gorgeous peacock toning on both sides, the obverse with a classic lilac ring that covers the stars and most of the fields with the center lighter and toned with teal and gold over Miss Liberty. The reverse has matching colors but is more of a uniform patina of light teal, yellow and russet with a few richer deep patches at the rims. Boldly struck by the dies and the surfaces are pleasing too. Jaw dropping eye appeal here, so don’t miss out." PCGS 22, NGC 29, CAC 12. Toss out your price guides and don't look at APRs. This GEM sold for $5,523 in our Regency Auction XV, and $8,225 as an NGC/CAC MS65 in the November 2013 sale of the Eric P. Newman Collection.
