THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV A true Mint State survivor of this popular and important Carson City issue. The arrows were placed at the date to signify the very slight increase in weight of the planchets. This example is bright and glossy with a brilliant luster on both sides, perhaps dipped ages ago. The strike is bold throughout and there are no singularly distracting marks worthy of mention. The eye appeal is quite pleasing. PCGS 2, NGC 2. There has not been a PCGS MS61 sold in auction since July 2011. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $12,500. Conditionally challenging finer and a true rarity in any Mint State grade.
