详细说明: A GEM example of this Rarity-7- pattern quarter. William Barber's Seated Liberty obverse paired with the regular issue proof reverse die. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Perhaps 7-12 known in all grades, and this one ranks near the top of the Pop for the RB category. This highly attractive J-885 is a near twin to the ex Denali coin we recently sold in our May 2022 offering of the Glorious Patterns Collection. Mostly red surfaces beam with a bold reflection. Splashes of iridescent blue tone graces the surfaces, thus the RB designation, but it does not obscure the depth or brilliance of the mirrors. The eye appeal is excellent. Housed in an old green tag holder. PCGS 3, NGC 0. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,500 and the Glorious Patterns coin is the most recent to sell bringing $5,523.
