详细说明: This is the ULTIMATE copper-nickel clad Ike dollar that exists! Despite being a modern series, this is the ONLY MS68 example graded by either service of ANY date, 1971-78. These were struck from shallow, low relief dies, which have many wide open expanses of open space in the design, which were open for many contact marks. While 40% silver-clad Ike dollars are plentiful in lofty grades, thanks to being struck and placed in collector packaging, those struck for commercial use were not. Even in MS67 most dates are either unknown or extremely rare, making this the FINEST for type purposes. Lustrous, clean surfaces beam with a brilliance that enhances gorgeous toning on both sides. Sharply struck devices stand out boldly. The eye appeal is SUPERB!
