What a wonderful GEM AU Draped Bust half dollar! A later die state, O-109a, which is rated R-3. Beautiful color on both sides suggest being housed in an old collection for a long time. A soft satin sheen back lights the amber-gold patina. Interesting die cracks identify the late die state. A really cool and attractive example. PCGS 25, NGC 8, CAC 9. The last PCGS graded example sold for $4,935 in January 2015, and was not CAC. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $4,950. Original and attractive examples are not common at all, and this one is certainly worthy of a strong bid! Cert. Number 25600258 PCGS # 6073
