1876-CC Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB-101. Small CC. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. Softly frosted in finish and largely free of sizeable abrasions, this handsome near-Gem is also possessed of original toning. The obverse periphery is boldest in a halo of mostly copper-russet and deep-blue colors, the reverse being much lighter overall with delicate olive-apricot iridescence at the border. The centers on both sides are more-or-less brilliant. As one of the more frequently encountered CC-mint Half Dollars, the 1876-CC is a perennial favorite among mintmarked type collectors.
