- Sandy-gold, lemon-yellow, pinkish-rose and ice-blue iridescence enlivens virtually pristine surfaces. The reverse is rotated approximately 30 degrees counterclockwise from normal coin alignment, an unusual situation for a 20th century U.S. Mint Proof coin and one that we cannot recall seeing all that often for the Proof 1937 nickel.
