- M. Diatom Collection. Superbly struck, every obverse star pops out of the fields with fully articulated segments. By no means does the appearance seem prooflike, yet some cameo effect nevertheless emanates from the somewhat frothy devices over the satiny fields. Vague wispy hairlines and a series of intermittent abrasions across the torso likely account for the grade.
