Ex. Larry Shapiro Collection, as noted on the holder. Tied for FINEST graded at PCGS, this 1908 quarter is an exceptionally pretty SUPERB GEM. Ultra watery mirrors gleam with a bold reflection from below a lovely and totally original patina. Blue, violet, green, and golden hues all blend over the extremely smooth mirrored fields. Sharply struck devices are frosty. The eye appeal is superb. PCGS 8, NGC 5. NONE are finer in the designation. These have generally been selling in the $8,000-$10,000 range going back to 2012.
