FROM THE STAR CITY CAC MORGAN COLLECTION. The "broken R & B" variety, as noted on the insert. A fully GEM quality example of this variety. Highly lustrous, brilliant silver surfaces are unmarred by any serious marks or ticks and the silver surfaces are virtually untoned. The devices are well struck and the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 872, NGC 352, CAC 118. Overall for the 8 TF, PCGS has graded 49 in MS65+. For the VAM-21 variety, 2 have graded MS65+ and only a single MS66 is graded finer. The current PCGS value is listed at $3,200 for 8TF in 65+ and $3,300 for the VAM variety. The last PCGS/CAC MS65+ 8TF sold for $2,640 in a July 2018 auction sale.
