详细说明: We were surprised when CAC did not bean this coin--they called it a near miss-and we fully agree. We believe a small die chip on the face is all that is keeping it from a bean. So for us, it is an opinion issue vs. a doctoring issue. Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. However using a strong glass you can detect a small scrape and tick or two. Again, you need to use a glass to see these microscopic ticks. A full booming luster enlivens both sides vividly, giving life to a superb mix of totally orange orange/deep gold colors swirl all over (a peacock in heat would blush at the colors!). There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 6, NGC 4. There are only 3 coins finer. The last 08-D Motto in PCGS MS66 to sell in auction brought $39,950 in April 2017. That is a relatively lower price since the current Collector’s Universe value is $47,500. As it did in the Crow River Collection, this coin will be an excellent fit to ANY GEM $10 Set! Cert. Number 31659645 PCGS # 8860
