- Undated (1834) William Seward. HT-28, Low-15, DeWitt-CE 1834-5, W-10-112b. Rarity-3. Brass. Plain Edge. 27 mm. AU-55 (NGC). The reverse is rotated approximately 45 degrees clockwise from coin alignment. Direct lighting calls forth pretty champagne-pink undertones to otherwise dominant medium brassy-gold patina. The strike is well centered on the planchet and bold despite the typical softness in the center of the reverse at the eagle's breast and tail.
