FROM THE HANOVER COLLECTION, PART 2. An exceptional quality example of this intriguing over mintmark variety with the underlying S clearly visible under the D. Blazing red luster blooms vibrantly on either side of this well struck and wonderfully preserved PQ GEM. Just a single example is graded finer at PCGS. PCGS 10, NGC 12, CAC 11. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,600, but the CAC CPG value is listed at $3,120, and this coin brought $2,115 in July 2014.
