- Full, blazing copper-red luster shines throughout, practically undiminished after 170 years of existence. Besides the wonderful mint color, the surface displays very few abrasions of any sort, such that fleeting darker carbon splotches most likely limit the grade. While struck nearly as well as can be, a few obverse stars admittedly lack internal delineation.
