A truly SUPERB example! Magnificent reflective fields have bold flash and beam with a strong clarity throughout the fields. The devices are thickly frosted and stand out nicely against the icy-glassy mirrors. Both sides are deeply toned but they do not obscure the intensity of the flashy Proof surfaces. The eye appeal is excellent. Only 762 Proofs were struck. PCGS 7, NGC 13, CAC 5. This coin represents the last two auction sales, selling for $9,988 in April 2014 and $6,300 in June 2020 and the CAC CPG value is $5,940. We have said for ages that the market has unfairly treated Proof Barbers and with only three finer in the designation, this impressive coin should bring a strong price.
