- Struck from the latest state of these dies, JD Die State c/c, this piece no longer shows any evidence of the 6 underdigit, but now has several light peripheral die cracks on both sides. Beautifully preserved surfaces are brilliant apart from the faintest trace of champagne-gold and powder blue iridescence. Fully struck with glassy fields, discerning Proof type and date collectors will compete vigorously for the honor of securing this prized condition rarity. It is the finest example of the "Weak Overdate" 1887 certified in the PCGS non-Cameo category.
