Bold field to device contrast between deeply beaming mirrored fields and thickly frosted devices give this coin a spectacular look. The surfaces are icy smooth and free of any distracting lines or marks. Virtually untoned, we note just a light halo of gold at the periphery and some very minor flecks, mentioned only for the sake of full disclosure. Every detail is razor sharp in definition and the eye appeal is SUPERB. Only 731 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 11, CAC 2.
