- A truly captivating example with intense olive-bronze and rose iridescence engaging the left obverse border. The balance of the surfaces are more reserved in appearance and show wisps of olive-russet to a base of pearl gray. Pearlescent luster complements the coloration and showcases the overall untouched surfaces. Absolutely captivating to view in-hand. Although plentiful in an absolute sense, this final Denver Mint Walking Liberty half dollar is rare in the finest Mint State grades. Of the 3.9 million coins struck, the present example is one of the very finest known, with none certified finer by PCGS or NGC.
