"1787" Fugio Copper. "New Haven Restrike." Newman 104-FF, W-17570. Silver. AU-53 (PCGS). These silver restrikes are quite rare with a mere 20 examples certified by PCGS in all grades. Boldly struck on all devices and the surfaces are average as light pin scratches are noted on the obverse. Handsome antique gray patina throughout, and patches of fine die rust are seen on the reverse, mostly within the rings. Highly collectible today and these were produced in the 1860-1877 period.
