- Large O. 14 graded MS-65, 15 higher at NGC. Elusive at any mint-state level, the 1859-O dime becomes downright rare at or above the gem level. Gleaming white surfaces stave off any signs of color and produce a bit of cameo contrast not typically seen for the issue. A series of tiny cuts on the obverse far left rim have an uncertain origin, but do not detract.
